Hey, just wanted to say I found this to be a really interesting read! Thanks for taking the time to write it and I’m looking forward to your future posts
Thank you for sharing all your time and effort. I am an a North American currently in Peru and am going to Argentina for the first time next week. My principal interest is in agriculture as I was a lifetime grower in Southern California. Do yo have any contacts that might help me look for a place in the Pampa? I won’t put forth any ideas as a don’t know much of the agriculture in the area but local knowledge would be nice. I speak fluent Spanish and very much appreciate your help along with the folks on Doug and Matt’s Phyle.
I don't have any contacts in this regard unfortunately. But since your Spanish is fluent, I would travel to places you like, and see who is selling what and talk to them.
Another idea that comes to my mind are these gaucho festivals they have here and there. If you go there, you have the chance to get to know some farmers from the area. People are usually very friendly and open, so if you get to know some poeple this way, they maybe invite you to their farm. I know it from hiking that it's pretty common in the country to have a little chat with random people you meet. If have some non-professional contacts, they likely tell you the whole story because they don't want to sell you something. That's very valuable.
Nice one mate. Great write up!
Thanks Jordan!
